Just over three years ago, when the Center for Christian Studies was first launched, we had a mission to produce excellent biblical and theological resources for equipping churches and Christian leaders. Our stated goal included not only producing the resources but also making them available to believers around the world. We began with a big vision!
Now that we have built up and continue adding to our catalogue of various resources, we have recently been able to give some attention to sharing these resources globally.
As an example of this global impact, we recently donated and sent 200 copies of our book, Transforming Encounters, by John Mark Hicks, to ministers and ministry students in Accra, Ghana. They were pleased to receive the books and are now putting them to good use.
We also sent 15 copies of our new book by Lance Hawley, Walking with Wisdom: A Study of Proverbs, to students at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. They are part of the vibrant campus ministry led by Frank Essien. These students are participating in a Tuesday Bible study on Proverbs.
In addition to these books, we are beginning to expand the availability of our resources in other languages. For example, we have been making our video resources freely available to missionaries around the world who can translate them for their own use.
In the next year, the Center for Christian Studies is dedicated to making more and more of these wonderful books and videos accessible to those who need them, here and around the world.
We are looking for true partners in this ministry who are captivated by our vision to equip our Christian brothers and sisters. Will you help us give the gift of faithful Christian instruction to others by providing the funds we need to make it happen?
The Tuesday after Thanksgiving has been designated as “Giving Tuesday,” a day to give generously to your favorite nonprofits. We hope you will consider a year-end, tax-deductible gift to the Center for Christian Studies—to our General fund and/or the McNicol–Weed Endowment. Scripture teaches that it is a blessing to give generously to worthy ministries, so we want to offer committed believers this opportunity to bless and be blessed by giving in a way that serves the church at large, immediately and in the future.
We are so grateful for our committed donors, and we pray that new donors will join them in partnering with us in this ministry.
Will you give to help CCS equip churches here and around the world? If you are already giving, will you increase your gift?
And will you consider including CCS in your estate planning? If you need help with these arrangements, please contact us at info@christian-studies.org.
